Before you install
- PicoRunner on an Apple Silicon Mac; tested with version 0.3.14 on macOS 26.6.2
- Internet access for the initial source and dependency download
- Keep the same browser profile and local address for saved browser data; export backups before changing them
- Managed updates were reported unavailable in the tested PicoRunner UI
- Core sorting needs no account; some advanced tools fetch additional online resources
- Native installation uses pnpm and changed its lockfile in the test checkout

Source and compatibility evidence
Runtime verified
We tested this app with PicoRunner 0.3.14 on macOS 26.6.2 (25G83), Apple Silicon arm64.
Last checked 2026-10-15.
- source: Pinned root package declares omni-tools and dev: vite; packageManager is absent. The catalog uses native discovery, not an unmerged manifest.
- source: Pinned license text identifies MIT application code.
- install: Canonical GitHub import completed through PicoRunner using Node 24.21.0 and pnpm; native discovery selected the root dev script. Its pnpm lockfile changed in the disposable checkout.
- launch: PicoRunner launched the existing Vite dev script on an assigned port, without a manifest.
- health: The managed IPv6 loopback listener and sorting UI were reachable at localhost; IPv4 was not bound.
- smoke: Sorted and deduplicated a synthetic list; the downloaded output was independently checked as apple, kiwi, zebra.
- restart: A Sort bookmark survived PicoRunner Stop/Start.
- cleanup: Removed the synthetic bookmark and stopped the test app; the managed folder and registration were intentionally retained. No uninstall is claimed.
