  • Auto-save (local persistence)
  • Fullscreen, distraction-free writing

Before you install

  • Apple Silicon Mac with macOS 13.5 or later
  • Internet connection for the initial dependency download
  • Cloud sync requires separate OAuth credentials for each provider; basic writing does not use those integrations.
  • PDF export uses a server-side Chromium dependency and has not been validated on macOS.
Source and compatibility evidence

Source reviewed

The README and launch scripts have been reviewed. A complete PicoRunner installation and usability check has not been recorded.

Last checked 2026-10-04.

  • Source: Pinned manifest declares dillinger and dev: next dev. This is source evidence, not a completed PicoRunner runtime verification.
  • Source: The README documents npm installation and the dev script, local autosave, and Markdown/HTML export. Cloud integrations require OAuth configuration. Its Chromium-based PDF export is not included in this compatibility prediction.
  • Source: The pinned upstream repository license was checked separately from app launch compatibility.
