Before you install
- PicoRunner on an Apple Silicon Mac; tested with 0.3.14 and bundled Node 24.21.0 on macOS 26.6.2.
- Internet access for initial source and npm dependency download. Core practice needs no account or backend.
- Progress and preferences use browser localStorage; keep the same browser profile and local address.
- Optional dictionary links open an external site; those links were not tested.
- Native discovery runs the Vite development server; proposed production-manifest acceptance and managed updates were not tested through PicoRunner.

Repository is MIT-licensed. External provenance of the bundled character dataset and favicon is not documented; third-party asset rights were not independently cleared. No such asset is copied into this catalog.

- launch: Native discovery selected root dev: vite through npm run dev with an assigned port; this is distinct from the proposed production-preview manifest.
- health: Readiness and browser access passed; managed Vite listener confirmed on IPv6 loopback.
- smoke: Entered dian for 点/點 with hint diǎn; accepted as correct, one answer out of one and 100% success, advancing to 妈/媽. History recorded the answer.
- restart: Stop removed the listener; Start created a new process. History hard reload retained the answer and Statistics retained one correct answer/one attempt/100.0%.
- cleanup: Stopped through PicoRunner and listener confirmed absent. Managed source and synthetic answer/history retained; no uninstall or existing-app lifecycle action.
