No. You choose an app and approve its setup in PicoRunner. It takes care of the installation steps it supports. Some apps need extra details, such as a login or an AI service key; check the app’s page before you start.
Mac is the first supported platform, not the limit of the project. More platforms are planned. Today’s download works on Apple Silicon Macs with macOS 13.5 or later.
Compatibility depends on the project and its requirements. Each app page includes setup requirements and source or runtime evidence. You can also bring a public GitHub link or a local folder; projects outside the collection may need additional setup.
PicoRunner keeps your app library and downloads on your computer. Individual apps may use online services. Check their privacy details before adding personal information.
